How To Prepare For Your Hair Removal Service
-Growth of your hair is very important. Your hair should be a minimum of 1/4 of an inch, preferably 3-4 weeks of growth. Its not always necessarily about length, but growth cycles as well. Both Brittany & Katie find there are far fewer chances of ingrowns or irritation if there has been more than 3 weeks of growth. Remember it's never too long so no trimming is necessary.
-Cleanliness, coming from a shower is ideal but in a pinch a non scented wipe will do the job! You may exfoliate the night before to ensure all trapped hairs and dead skin has been lifted and removed.
-Hydrating well 48 hours before the service will help your hair follicles to release from the body easier and can result in a less painful wax.
-If you are on any Antibiotics please reach out to us as soon as possible, most of them you can not wax while taking and you'll need to reschedule your appointment. Advil is also not recommended before your appointment since there is a higher chance of bruising while on an anti-inflammatory.
-If you are menstruating please have a fresh clean tampon inserted directly before a Brazilian.
-If this is your first Brazilian wearing loose fitted clothing is best. You may be tender and red for the first 24 hours.
-No intercourse, working out, hot tubs, pools or saunas for the first 48 hours after receiving any body waxing.
